Configuration

1. Wordpress

The app is getting it's data from Wordpress, one of the most successful Content Management Systems in the world. If you have no Wordpress Website running, head over to the Wordpress Documentation. If you have your site already running on Wordpress the installation is easy. Just continue reading.

1.1 Install Plugins

To get everything up and running you will need to install a few plugins:

  • Advanced Custom Fields
  • Advanced Custom Fields to REST API
  • Advanced Custom Fields Date And Time Picker Field
  • MoConference Plugin

1. Install the third party plugins

Go to Plugins > Add New and install the following three plugins:

  1. https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-custom-fields/
  2. https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/acf-to-rest-api/
  3. https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/acf-field-date-time-picker/

2. Upload the zip file in \_wordpress/mooconference.zip and activate the plugin

That's it!

You're all done. Easy wasn't it? 😏 You should now see "Events" in the Sidebar.
